With several tablets coming into the market, there is a price race between many products like these tablet devices. Aakash broke all records with Rs. 2999 in India, while Reliance 3G Tab also gave a good product at Rs.13000. Beetel’s Magiq, priced at Rs. 9999, has now jumped into the fray to fight with other such products.
With a processor speed of range 1GHz, running Android 2.2 Beetel Magiq presents a 7-inch WVGA full touch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480, trackpad and stylus.
It comes along with a Li-Ion 2200mAh battery which gives it a talk time of 3 hours and a standby time of 60 hours. It has an internal memory of 8GB and supports a memory card of 16GB capacity.
Connectivity:
Connectivity to the net and other devices via Bluetooth, 3G, WAP and Wi-Fi. GPS, GPRS and EDGE networks are also supported.
Dimensions:
At 209mm x 108mm x 15.5mm weighing 500g, it is a little bulky but a comfortable stand helps to prop it up nicely and is useful especially when watching movies.
Camera:
Beetel Magiq consists of 2MP front and rear cameras with a 4X zoom, video recording and playback for taking pictures and video chats.
Applications:
With Android Market loaded, you can download several apps for free while other applications including Games, Calculator, Tasks, Alarm, and Calendar etc are pre-installed.
At Rs.9999, Beetel Magiq is a good buy but with a little improvement on speed and performance it will be able to compete with the other tablets in the market.
