Sony's First Android Walkman NW-Z1000


Sony's Walkman NW-Z1000
Sony  has recently announced its latest Walkman NW-Z1000 which is provided by Android Gingerbread 2.3 Operating System . It’s overall looks seems lavish design. It is the first ever model from the Walkman series using the Google operating system ever in smartphone in these generation mobile phones. The player would be coming up in 16, 32 and 64 gig versions. Audio clarity is claimed to be best in walkman range.

Sony has presented a new Walkman Phone said to be as PMP – portable media player – codenamed Sony NW-Z1000 which should become available for purchase to the ending this year following on December 2011.
The Sony NW-Z1000 was presented at IFA 2011 and is actually their first PMP with Android Gingerbread 2.3 as the operative system. In terms of specifications it packs a dual-core Tegra 2 processor RAM running at 1GHz as well as 512MB of memory RAM. On top of the 4.3-inch display, screen with 480×800 pixels of resolution, it has a digital amplifier named “S-Master MX” which should  definetly improve the sound quality as ever than previous phones by Sony.
The battery life of the upcoming Sony Walkman PMP is good enough for 20 hours of non-stop music listening, or 5 hours of video,Movie watching. The additional add-on’s include WiFi, bluetooth with A2DP, HDMI output, DLNA, and last but not least – GPS.
The Sony NW-Z1000 Walkman will cost $365 for the 16GB version where as $430 for 32GB, and $560 for the biggest 64GB . It is hoped to become available in two colors – red and blue – and in case you want a special model visit the Sony online store that will sell a purple edition of 64GB for $600.
