LG Optimus Pad, a brand new midsized tablet from LG is ready to release soon in the market. The tablet runs on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb Operating System. The tablet support all Google’s application like Gmail, Gtalk. YouTube is also provided in this beautiful tablet. The display is 8.9’’ touch screen and comes with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels with 3D effects. On the rear end is a 5MP camera with auto focus and LED flash. Also included is a front facing 2MP camera enabling the users to video chat.
The tablet is a little bulky weighing approximately 621 gms. Powered by a 1GHz dual core NVIDIA processor, the tablet is expected to take up the market in a wave. The tablet has internal storage of 32 GB and comes with a microSD card slot expandable upto yet another 32GB. All the connectivity options like Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS, EDGE, GPS with A-GPS support, Bluetooth are included in the tablet.
LG Optimus Pad will be shipped in a single black colored model. Also included in the tablet is a 3.5mm audio jack enabling you to plug in your favorite earphones. One of the drawbacks of the tablet is no FM radio I included in it. The release date and the price of the tablet are still unknown but lets hope that it will release soon this year with an affordable price tag.
